Using Retin A for Skin Care
Retin A is used to treat acne vulgaris, skin problems due to overexposure to sun and Keratosis pilaris. The generic name of Retin A is tretinoin. Tretinoin is a derivative of Vitamin-A, also known as l-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) which is required in small amount for normal development.
Retin A irritates the skin and makes the skin cells grow and die rapidly in turn increasing the turnover of cells.
